Thank you everyone who supported Pinot, Pigs & Pours and our first annual FORE! the KIDS Golf tournament. Honestly, I could not have been happier with either event this year! Everyone that I spoke with had a wonderful time and are planning to come back next year! September is a meaningful month for me. As some of you know, Suicide Prevention and Advocacy are areas of passion for me and my family. After losing a beloved cousin to teen suicide, I was on the founding Board for the Nebraska Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. As you can imagine, when the opportunity to bring Mental Health services to Completely KIDS was proposed more than 10 years ago, I was all in! Our ability to reach KIDS early and help them develop the language and skills for lifelong mental health is so special and needed in our community. I am especially proud of our participation in the Kim Foundation’s Chalk it Up for Suicide Prevention and so grateful to our staff and community partners for the incredible, and difficult, work we are doing in this area. Together, we are making a difference one KID, one family, one community at a time.
