Completely KIDS Welcomes Five Exceptional Additions to Board of Directors

Omaha (Feb. 16, 2024) – Completely KIDS, a local organization dedicated to enriching the lives of children and families through after-school programs, summer initiatives, and family services, is delighted to announce the appointment of five exceptional individuals to our Board of Directors. These new additions bring a wealth of expertise and a shared commitment to serving the community, further strengthening Completely KIDS’ mission to provide essential support to those in need.

The newly appointed board members are as follows:

Sara Vander Helm, Director of Content and Creative Solutions at Gallup.

Brett Lindstrom, Senior Vice President at Bridges Trust.

Andrew Balus, Executive Director of Utilities & Engineering at the University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC).

Joanne Sebby, Executive Vice President & Chief Risk Officer at Fiserv.

Kelvin Patel, Vice President of Commercial Banking at American National Bank.

Each of these individuals brings a unique perspective and a deep dedication to improving the lives of children and families in the Omaha community. Their diverse backgrounds and experiences will undoubtedly enrich the strategic direction of Completely KIDS and contribute to its continued success in addressing critical societal challenges.

When asked about their decision to join Completely KIDS, the new board members expressed their enthusiasm and dedication to the organization’s mission:

Sara Vander Helm stated, “Healthy communities are built on healthy families – and access is at the heart of this. Completely KIDS is a safe place to learn, grow, and thrive for Omaha families who need people and places just like these, and I’m so excited to be part of all that CK is building.”

Brett Lindstrom shared, “As a former policy maker, three issues that we were constantly working on were workforce development, food insecurity, and mental health. We spent a lot of our time discussing these issues, but Completely KIDS is on the front lines doing the heavy lift to offer real solutions and have an incredible impact for kids and families in our community.”
