Family Programs & Adult Education
At Completely KIDS, we believe children are most successful when their entire family has the tools and support they need to thrive. Through the Joyce Mammel Family Center, we take a holistic approach to strengthening families by providing education, life skills, and supportive resources that help parents and caregivers reach their goals.
Every new skill learned and every barrier overcome creates a ripple effect that strengthens families, empowers KIDS, and builds a more connected community.
Whether you’re working toward your GED, learning English, developing a new skill, or participating in family workshops, our programs are designed to help you grow with confidence.

Monthly Class Schedule
Build knowledge, confidence, and self-sufficiency through classes including:
- GED Preparation
- English as a Second Language (ESL)
- U.S. Citizenship
- Computer Literacy
Adult education classes are offered on weekdays and select Saturdays. Please refer to the monthly class schedule for current dates and times.
Develop practical skills while connecting with others through classes such as:
- Sewing
- Crochet
- Natural Cosmetics
- Zumba
- Yoga
- Homework Diner
- Pipe Cleaner Art
- Sequins & Beads

- Select Adult Education classes (offered September – May)

- Piano (Beginner & Advanced)

During the school year, families are invited to join us every week on Thursday from 5:30-7:30pm for academic support and a family meal!
Dedicated tutors and college volunteers ready to help kids with extra practice in subjects like math, reading, and writing. Students receive the academic support they need while parents learn strategies to confidently support learning at home.
We also offer childcare for the little ones who are not yet in school, so everyone in the family can participate!
Complimentary dinner is provided to participating families.
To help families fully participate, we also provide:
- Complimentary childcare during classes and workshops
- Access to a computer lab, Monday through Friday, 10am-3pm
- Evidence-based family workshops that strengthen communication and parenting skills
- Community partnerships that connect families with healthcare, financial, educational, and other supportive resources

Parking & Entrance
Parking is available in the two parking lots directly behind the Joyce Mammel Family Center. If you are traveling west on St. Mary’s Avenue, turn left onto South 25th Street to access the rear parking lots. The main entrance is located on St. Mary’s Avenue.
How to Register
Registration is completed in person at the Joyce Mammel Family Center, Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Adult Education classes are open to the general public. Priority registration may be given to parents and guardians of youth enrolled in Completely KIDS after-school programs.
