Teen Programs
Whether they’re exploring future careers, building life skills, or simply looking for a safe place to connect after school, Completely KIDS helps teens gain the confidence, skills, and support they need to succeed. Our Teen Programs include both an after-school program for high school students and a paid Teen Employment Program for eligible juniors and seniors.
Teen After-School Program
Our Teen Room at CK26 provides high school students with a welcoming space to unwind, connect with friends, and continue learning after the school day ends. More than just a place to hang out, teens participate in activities that build confidence, leadership, and life skills while receiving support from caring adult mentors.
Throughout the year, teens also participate in workshops led by community professionals on topics such as:
- Financial literacy and budgeting
- College and career exploration
- Resume writing and job applications
- Interview preparation
- ACT preparation
- Leadership and personal development
Teen Employment Program (TEP)
The Teen Employment Program gives eligible high school juniors and seniors the opportunity to gain meaningful, paid work experience while making a difference in the lives of younger students.
As Junior Support Staff (JSS), participants work alongside Completely KIDS staff at our elementary and middle school programs, helping lead activities, support students, and build valuable professional skills in a supportive environment.
Because the program is highly sought after, we maintain approximately 40 Junior Support Staff positions at any given time. Students are encouraged to apply for the Junior Support Staff position through our Careers page, where qualified applicants are added to a waitlist. As positions become available throughout the year, we hire directly from that waitlist.
Students hired as Junior Support Staff are automatically enrolled in the Teen Employment Program. Participation in the program includes ongoing workshops, professional development, and program expectations designed to prepare teens for future employment and leadership opportunities. To remain employed as a Junior Support Staff member, participants must actively engage in and meet the requirements of the Teen Employment Program.

Through regular training and life skills workshops, participants also develop skills in teamwork, professionalism, financial literacy, time management, and career planning.
Many Junior Support Staff continue their journey with Completely KIDS after graduation by becoming Part-Time Support Staff (PSS) while attending college or entering the workforce.
The Teen Employment Program is open to high school students (ages 16-18) who are interested in gaining paid work experience and developing professional skills. Applicants must currently be enrolled in high school and cannot have graduated yet.
